Creating a Google account
Creating a Google Account is a important process if you don’t already have one.
Zero Harm uses Google mapping technology, so having a Google account is the easiest way for mapping information to be shared with you.
If you haven’t registered with a email address assigned to a Google account, it is possible that you wont be able to edit the map from the get go.
Thankfully the process is really simple and easy, if you already have one, simply email support@zeroharm.app with the Google account address or, if you don’t have one, then you can quickly create one or assign one to your current email address.
Simply visit google.com
In the top right click Sign In
Now click Create Account
Here we can add all of the normal details with the option to create a new email / Google account or assign one to your current email address.
From here you will be asked to confirm that you are the owner of the email address and proceed through the normal process.
Once the setup has been complete your Google account will now have been created and you’ll be able to send this to Zero Harm so we can share your hazards map with you.
Editing the map
Once you have logged in to zeroharm.app you click “Map of Hazards” on the left hand side.
Please click edit map.
This will redirect you to your map. You must be logged into your google account for this to work. If you do not have a Google account you will need to set this up. Please see the advice on this page on how to create one.
If you find you are logged into your google account but you still do not have access to any edit features, please contact us and we will look into this issue.
